Superior Mining Announces The Results Of Drilling At Redcastle.

July 8, 2014

Vancouver, British Columbia:  Superior Mining International Corporation, (the “Company”) is pleased to announce the results of the Phase 2 drilling program at its Redcastle gold project near Leonora, West Australia.

The property is located approximately 250 km northeast of Kalgoorlie, in the Leonora-Laverton district of Western Australia in the highly prospective Yilgarn Craton region. Redcastle is close to major mining operations such as the Minara Nickel Operation, some 15 km to the north, and Barricks’ Granny Smith gold mine located about 50 km to the east.

A phase two, 56-hole aircore drill program for 1,268 m (Appendix 1) was completed during the first week of May 2014. Deeper RC drilling was deferred until closer-spaced drilling was completed to narrow down the bedrock target. The aircore program was spaced on a 400 m by 400 m drill pattern, and was drilled through the younger cover to bedrock. Drill sampling consisted of 4 m composites decreasing to a one metre interval at the contact of the younger sediments and the basement (interface). Samples were analyzed for gold in parts per billion (ppb) by aqua regia digest at Intertek Laboratories in Maddington, Perth, West Australia.

Drilling was concentrated through the center of the tenements and the northwest corridor.

The most significant gold values returned are:

Hole East (m) North (m) Sampno From (m) To (m) Au (ppb)
RPA056 391800 6802000 RP1048 8 12 20
RPA056     RP1045 6 7 38

RPA060 391400 6801800 RP1089 6 7 34
RPA061 391600 6801800 RP1105 4 5 29

RPA071     RP1214 35 38 55
RPA102 393600 6800395 RP1498 11 12 22

The best result returned was 202 ppb gold in drillhole RPA63 located at 6801400N and 391600E, between 40 to 41m. Host rock is a saprock-zone komatiitic basalt. Several interface anomalies were located, extending 600 m north and northwest of RPA63. Values ranged from 25 ppb gold to 63 ppb gold. Further infill aircore drilling is required to close in on a defined RC drill target.

Although it is clear that more drilling and other work needs to be carried out on the Redcastle property to better define the target and grades, Superior Mining’s drilling results to date on the property are very encouraging since ore bodies have previously been found on low order gold interface results in the Yilgarn Craton  host to many gold mines.

A full listing of the results is attached in Appendix 2.

The Company continues to complete the transaction of the sale of Mangalisa.
